New Boots!

I have been obsessed with reading all these fashion blogs lately. It has gotten me thinking more about fashion and finding good deals. I went to the mall yesterday evening. I wanted to check out the Nine West store to see if there were any boots on sale. I was hoping to find some but wasn't expecting much since it's the end of the season. When I got into Nine West I immediately spotted some light brown suede slouchy boots. They were exactly what I was looking for and the best part was that they were 60% off. Luckily they had my size. So I walked away with a great deal. I can wear these over and under jeans and also with skirts. Now I just need to find some skinny jeans. I am having a hard time finding any that look right on me. I just need to take a day and go jeans shopping. (which is the only thing I hate shopping for).

My hair has Guts!!

So every winter my hair is drier and flatter than normal. Well this winter, it is drier and flatter than ever. I am thinking it may be my new place. The air in here seems so dry and there is so much static. Everytime I pet my cat, I shock him. So when I was getting my hair cut last week, I mentioned this to my stylist and he told me to try Redken Guts 10. It is a thin foam that you spray directly on your hair, not on your hands. Once you have it sprayed on, you just kind of rub it in and then blow dry. Let me tell you, I LOVE this product. It has brought my hair back to life. It is so full and thick now. If you have problems with flat, lifeless hair, definitely try this.

Ugh, what a long boring day. Really hope the rest of this week goes fast. In the meantime, here is a cute pic of my cat Indy. He loves when I am putting laundry in the basket. He jumps in and just purrs while I am piling the towels on him. LOL!!

I broke the roosters :(

Well I have sort of had a productive day. I got up this morning and went to the gym where I did cardio for 45 minutes. Then I went to Marshall's and Home Goods to look for Easter decorations. I got some cute Spring towels at Home Goods. They had a ton of cute Easter decorations but I decided to go through what I have at home first before I go back to buy more. When I was at Marshall's I got the cutest rooster serving bowl and plate for $6.00 total. I was so excited to find them for such a good price. Well when I got home and pulled the bag out of the car, it slipped out of my hand and fell on the cement in the garage. Both the bowl and plate shattered even though the nice salesgirl wrapped them in paper. Needless to say, I was upset but grateful I only spent $6.00. I will be going back to Marshall's tomorrow to replace them. Hopefully they have some left. There were only a few left today. Of course I will be very careful when I take them out of my car again. I need to get my camera out so I can start taking pics of the things I purchase so that I can post them on my blog. I will do that soon.

My first post and YEA COLTS!!!

I have been wanting to start a blog for awhile now. I think now is a great time to do so. I have been looking at other blogs related to home decor and crafting and project ideas. I have seen some beautiful things on those blogs and have become very inspired. I bought my condo about 8 months ago and have already done some work on it and bought some new items for it. I am hoping to get some more work done and to purchase more items for my new home. I can't wait to meet the other bloggers out there and share ideas. Now, I couldn't write my first post without saying Congratulations to the Indianapolis Colts for becoming the AFC Champions today!!! Can't wait to see them in the Super Bowl!!!
